Welcome to Plot Twist Guild! We create experiences designed to help people connect, create, explore, and add a few unexpected chapters to life.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you purchase a membership, event, retreat, workshop, product, or other experience from Plot Twist Guild (“PTG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By completing a purchase or registration, you agree to these terms.

  1. Event Registration & Payment

Registration is not confirmed until payment has been successfully completed through our website.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, payment in full is required when registering for events, workshops, classes, and other experiences.

A Meetup RSVP, social media response, Skool RSVP, verbal commitment, or other expression of interest does not reserve a space. If an event has limited capacity, your place is secured only after completing the required registration and payment through the PTG website.

  1. Standard Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because many PTG experiences require us to purchase supplies, reserve space, hire facilitators, arrange food or beverages, and make other commitments based on registration numbers, standard event purchases are non-refundable unless the individual event listing specifically states otherwise.

This includes cancellations due to changes in plans, scheduling conflicts, illness, transportation problems, work obligations, or other personal circumstances.

We understand that unexpected situations happen, and we will always treat cancellation requests with compassion. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer the financial cost of an individual cancellation to PTG or the other attendees after expenses and commitments have been made.

When practical, you may transfer your paid registration to another person. Please contact us before the event so we can update the attendee information.

Failure to attend an event does not qualify for a refund or future event credit.

  1. Retreats & High-Ticket Experiences

Retreats and certain specialty experiences have additional costs and commitments that are made well in advance.

Unless the specific retreat or experience states otherwise:

  • The initial retreat deposit is non-refundable and reserves your space.
  • Remaining payments may be refundable until the cancellation deadline stated on the retreat registration page.
  • Unless another deadline is listed, remaining retreat payments become non-refundable.
  •  Cancellations received within the period listed on the retreat checkout page are non-refundable because lodging, food, supplies, activities, vendors, and other expenses may already have been purchased or committed.
  • A participant may request to transfer their reservation to another eligible participant. Transfers are subject to PTG approval and any vendor or lodging restrictions.

Each retreat may have its own payment schedule, cancellation deadline, transfer rules, or other requirements. When retreat-specific terms differ from these general terms, the terms shown during registration for that retreat will control.

We strongly encourage participants to consider travel insurance for retreats involving significant travel or non-refundable expenses.

  1. If Plot Twist Guild Cancels an Event

If PTG cancels an event and does not reschedule it, attendees will receive a refund of the amount paid directly to PTG for that event.

If an event is rescheduled, attendees may choose to attend the new date or request a refund unless otherwise stated.

PTG is not responsible for transportation, lodging, airfare, childcare, lost wages, or other expenses incurred in connection with an event cancellation or schedule change.

  1. Event Changes

Sometimes a little plot twist really does happen.

PTG may make reasonable changes to an event when necessary, including changes to the venue, schedule, facilitator, activities, menu, or programming.

A reasonable change to an event does not automatically constitute a cancellation or create a right to a refund.

If a significant change substantially alters the experience purchased, we will communicate available options to registered participants.

  1. Memberships

PTG may offer free and paid membership levels with different benefits.

Paid memberships may include benefits such as event discounts, exclusive content, member-only experiences, resources, or other benefits described on the membership purchase page.

Membership benefits may evolve as PTG grows. We may add, change, or discontinue individual benefits provided that the overall membership offering remains substantially consistent with the membership purchased.

  1. Recurring Membership Billing

When you purchase a recurring membership, you authorize PTG and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided at the billing interval displayed during checkout until you cancel.

The recurring price and billing frequency will be disclosed before purchase.

You may cancel a recurring membership before your next billing date to prevent the next recurring charge. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund charges that have already been processed.

After cancellation, membership access and benefits generally continue through the end of the period already paid for.

Unless otherwise required by law or specifically stated in an offer, membership payments are not prorated or refunded for partially used billing periods.

  1. Membership Discounts

Membership discounts apply according to the terms displayed with the applicable membership or promotion.

Discounts are not retroactive. If an event was purchased before joining a paid membership, the prior event purchase will not normally be repriced or partially refunded.

Discount codes, promotional offers, and membership discounts generally cannot be combined unless PTG specifically states otherwise.

Retreats, merchandise, specialty experiences, or other designated purchases may be excluded from particular discounts.

  1. Promotional Codes & Special Offers

Promotional codes have no cash value and may be subject to expiration dates, product restrictions, membership requirements, or other conditions.

PTG may correct or cancel a discount that was applied because of a technical error, unauthorized use, or a clearly incorrect promotion.

  1. Community Conduct

PTG is built around connection, creativity, inclusion, and respectful interaction.

Participants are expected to treat other members, attendees, facilitators, venue employees, and PTG representatives respectfully.

Harassment, threatening behavior, discrimination, bullying, repeated disruption, unsafe behavior, or conduct that substantially interferes with another person's ability to participate may result in removal from an event or the community.

When removal results from a participant's misconduct, a refund will not ordinarily be provided.

  1. Alcohol

Some PTG experiences may take place at restaurants, bars, private venues, or other locations where alcohol is available.

Participants are responsible for their own alcohol consumption, behavior, transportation, and compliance with applicable laws.

PTG never requires alcohol consumption in order to participate. Non-alcoholic alternatives may be offered when reasonably available.

  1. Food, Allergies & Dietary Needs

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate available food options and accommodate dietary requests when an event allows us to do so.

However, PTG cannot guarantee that food or beverages will be free from allergens or cross-contamination.

Participants with serious food allergies or other dietary concerns are responsible for determining whether available food is appropriate for them and should contact PTG before attending if additional information is needed.

  1. Participation & Personal Responsibility

Participation in PTG events and activities is voluntary.

Some experiences may involve walking, crafting materials, outdoor activities, travel, food preparation, physical movement, or other activities carrying ordinary risks.

Participants are responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for them and for following reasonable safety instructions provided by PTG, venues, facilitators, or vendors.

To the extent permitted by law, participants accept the ordinary risks associated with voluntarily participating in the activities they choose.

  1. Third-Party Venues & Providers

PTG sometimes works with restaurants, hotels, instructors, entertainers, transportation companies, venues, retreat properties, and other third-party providers.

Those businesses operate independently and may have their own terms, policies, safety requirements, cancellation policies, or restrictions.

PTG is not responsible for acts, omissions, service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control involving independent third parties.

  1. Photography & Video

Photos or videos may occasionally be taken during PTG events for community memories, our website, social media, and promotional purposes.

If you do not want identifiable photos or video of yourself used publicly, please notify PTG before the event. We will make reasonable efforts to honor that request.

We also ask members to be considerate when posting photographs or videos of other attendees.

  1. Digital Content & Intellectual Property

PTG-created materials—including worksheets, guides, stories, event concepts, videos, graphics, downloads, exercises, and other original content—are provided for personal use unless otherwise stated.

They may not be copied, resold, redistributed, commercially reproduced, or represented as someone else's work without written permission from PTG.

  1. Merchandise & Physical Products

Any return or replacement terms applicable to physical merchandise will be stated at the time of purchase.

Customized, personalized, made-to-order, or event-specific items may be non-refundable once production has begun.

Damaged or incorrect merchandise should be reported to PTG promptly so we can work with you toward an appropriate resolution.

  1. Force Majeure & Circumstances Beyond Our Control

PTG is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, transportation disruptions, widespread outages, emergencies, or similar events.

When such circumstances occur, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the experience, provide an alternative, issue credit, or determine another appropriate resolution based on the circumstances and recoverable costs.

  1. Website & Community Platforms

PTG may use third-party platforms such as Kajabi, Skool, Zoom, Meetup, payment processors, or other services to deliver portions of our community and experiences.

Use of those platforms may also be governed by the applicable platform's own terms and privacy policies.

Temporary technical problems with a third-party service do not automatically create a right to a refund, although we will make reasonable efforts to provide purchased PTG content or experiences through another method when appropriate.

  1. Privacy

We use personal information provided during registration and membership administration to operate PTG, process purchases, communicate about your membership or events, and provide the experiences you have requested.

Payment information is processed through third-party payment providers and platforms rather than being directly stored by PTG except as those systems permit.

Additional information regarding data handling may be provided through the privacy policy associated with our website and technology providers.

  1. Changes to These Terms

PTG may update these Terms & Conditions as the business evolves.

Changes apply prospectively and will not be used to retroactively change the material terms of a purchase already completed.

The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will generally apply to that transaction.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

By completing a purchase or registration with Plot Twist Guild, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the applicable cancellation and refund policies.
